understanding of contemporary dance. Excavating the present to reveal
the underlying or historic theories, traditions, ruptures, mélanges,
fusions, appropriations, trends, differences and revisionings. There
will be homework! (Studio research for some; books, video and internet
research for others). $100/series. $15/class.
