Pow! Right in the kisser. Two visions of social discontent in contemporary society - straight-up and unflinching. - Lyon Capitale, France

Performance by Keith Hennessy with Jules Beckman and Seth Eisen.
Additional texts by Robert Olen Butler and Kirk Read.
Pealing off the protective surface masking US American despair through poetic investigations of two marginalized icons: the homeless & the tweaker.

Part two: American Tweaker is NOT recommended for youth, children, or fragile adults.

Rita Felciano on How To Die:
Keith Hennessy is not for the faint of heart. His work is raw, sexually explicit and violent. It's also optimistic, romantic and naive. Hennessy, or his theatrical persona, believes that shamanistic practices, the ones that dig so deep they scare us out of our complacency, can bring about social change. At the very least, he sure is going to try. If that means exposing himself - physically and emotionally - to a level of vulnerability that is painful to watch, so be it.
